From almost nothing the threat of theft of unguarded tools from the rear of open vehicles is escalating at an alarming rate. Saws, in particular, seem to be a major target of the opportunist thief. Thefts have even been reported whilst operators have been working with them at the roadside.

Lincmaster, with normal thoroughness, have investigated the problem and have come up with simple low cost solutions.

By reeving a Lincmaster HD Security Chain around a suitable point on the vehicle and then connecting a Lincmaster Chain Lock to the end link then connecting that to a harness clip attached to saw. The saw can now be quickly and easily protected from the opportunist thief. Other items can be secured in a similar way.

By fitting a Multi-Purpose Lok to the vehicle several chains can be used and larger numbers of items secured.
